ZEBCARE has installed a unique toxicology research system at Chemservice, an Italian private research company. The system will be used to conduct for example Fish and Early-Life Stage Toxicity Tests (FELS). For this kind of tests zebrafish is commonly used as model organism. The system is a flow through system. Special flowmeters allow researchers to regulate the flow through the tanks with precision. Along with the toxicology research system we installed a water preparation system to produce water at a desired pH and salinity from incoming reversed osmosis water.
