The Genotyping tank DC-96 of R&D Aquatics allows researchers to house 24 individual zebrafish in a small space during screening, while still allowing fish to have more than 200 mL of fresh water in each compartment.
The tank is equipped with dividers to create individual compartments. You can adjust the holding compartment size by removing dividers. All of the dividers and lids are removable and allow for easy cleaning of the molded tank and components. A small gap at the bottom of dividers allows water (including waste and uneaten feed) to travel from compartment to compartment and then down the drain.
The tank is made out of transparant polycarbonate.
The tank can be equipped with a special stand to place it on standard zebrafish racks of the major suppliers. ZEBCARE designed a standard genotyping rack to hold up to four of these genotyping tanks.
Advantages of the Genotyping tank:
ZEBCARE is the official dealer for the products of R&D Aquatics in Europe.
Combined with the genotyping tank, the R&D Aquatics ClipStation is a perfect tool that enables you to streamline your genotyping protocols.
Below shows a video protocol on how to use the ClipStation and the genotyping DC-96 tank for streamlining your genotyping protocol.
