We feel pleased to announce that the Aquaculture and Fisheries group of Wageningen University and Research has chosen us as partner for the design and construction of experimental units for trials on fish nutrition. The complete assigment includes the construction of 24 circular fish tanks with variable volume (150 – 380 L), adjusting the existing recirculation system and connecting the fish tanks to this system. With this new system Wageningn UR can perform trials with completely controlled predefined conditions in fresh, marine, cold or warm water environment. Fish species of the researcher’s main interest are tilapia, rainbow trout, Atlantic salmon and Yellowtail Kingfish. The experimental system will be part of the 1.800 m² indoor Aquatic Research Facility of Wageningen UR. On the picture a prototype of the unit is shown. Our team of engineers is finalizing the design and we are planning to start the construction soon.
