ZEBCARE has designed and constructed racks for research on marine algae and other small organisms for VLIZ in Belgium based on specific requirements of the researchers. The flexible racks are equipped with two shelves. Each shelve has multiple water supply points, aeration points and electrical sockets. ZEBCARE supplied a range of aquaria (equipped with outflow devices and polycarbonate lids) in different sizes to be placed on the shelves. Next to this, LED lighting by TMC is installed. TMC provides LED solutions for both marine as well as freshwater applications. The units are fully programmable using the TMC Biolumen software package.
